Big Bang’s 3rd minialbum ‘Stand Up’ title song ‘Haru Haru’ is released today. The truth is that they had wanted to work with Daishi Dance and had request to collaborate with them on the composition of the song.
There has been the controversy on the issue of plagiarism regarding the song “Babo” off Big Bang’s 2nd minialbum, on grounds that the song beared much similiarity toDaishi Dance’s “Piano”.
GDragon said about his collaboration with Daishi Dance, under the allegations against him on plagiarism, “As a fan, it was great to work with them. And they were of a lot of help. I have always wanted to work with them too, and we requested to work with them. We are thankful towards Daishi Dance to be able to work with them.”
He continued, “We actually paid Daishi Dance a visit during our Japan public performance. We requested to work with them, which they did agree to, and we were very excited and happy about it, at the same time thankful too.”
“Haru Haru” features GDragon’s rap and melody with the companion of Daishi Dance’s piano.
